The wreck of the Argentine freighter Desdemona is located on the east coast of Tierra del Fuego. Launched in Hamburg in 1952, the ship initially sailed for the Hamburg-Chicago line and was sold to Argentina in 1962. The Desdemona was damaged in a storm and the captain decided to put it ashore to save the crew and cargo from sinking. Since 1985 the wreck has been rusting aesthetically in a great scenery.
Better be Tetanus vaccinated before going in that place. I like how your video is calm and relaxing. I think I actually prefer that than facecam urbexers. Good job.
Pretty cool It's made post atomic bomb steel which is one reason scrappers didn't take the whole thing. Guess the boiler/engine are gone? Oddly the prop is still there... bronze probably.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.
