Being out of school on Coronacation has me wanting to be productive. I got the idea to wake up absurdly early and hike up to some towers on the mountain. It was a long hike through the rain, but eventually I made it to the top with over an hour to spare before the sunrise. I tried this same place before to watch some fireworks from and ended up running down the mountain with a truck chasing us and a (most likely coincidental) helicopter hovering over us. But this time I got up and down with no issues. Enjoy the photos. 1.

Really like #4. I'm a communications buff. Beware high RF levels...

That looks like one of the abandoned AT&T Long Lines Microwave Towers. these were built in the 50's and 60's.

If your uncle Jack were stuck on a roof. And he asked for your help. Would you help your uncle Jack off? |

It was in fact one. Many of them are disused and all of them are pretty wide with convenient platforms to chill on. Makes for an easy climb.
