~ Something New, Something Familiar and Decade Later ~

First week behind, well, after this friday evening and it seems that my work will continue to end of November. Good for money, but bad for my head and heart. Anyway, I'll take you back to the last weeks of freedom. This was beautiful, cold morning when I did decide go to check if again one Google Earth find would be.

I did drive far away to countryside, walk through forest and there it was, in the middle of open fields. Small house with beautiful trees. It almost did feel like it would have been little island in the middle of that great wide open.

Trees Danced by the Wind:

Old Things and Stuff:

Soft Touch of a Winter Morning Light:

After that first, new location I did go to see how these yellow houses are doing. There is maybe 6 or seven buildings together, all painted with same yellow tone.

Still Standing:

Feeling Dizzy:

And One Day… It Did Came Down:

After that I already was running out of time… but I still decide to steal it bit more and finally return to this old farm after decade long break. At that last trip I did meet the owner. He were ok with my photographing, but still I did decide that I won't return... until now. Cowshed were partly collapsed, but in the house even that rocking chair were still at same place as 10 years ago.

Sad Little Sauna:

Birch and House:

Lonely Days:

Guardian:

Falling Colors:

Days in Ghostlight:

Back Side:

Cowshed:

Broken:

-----

And today’s off-topic-bonus-photo comes from the rapids… where I once again were shooting details of ice:

That’s all at this time.

Great set.

Well, maybe buying some more beer will help get you through the next days of work.

Great old stove and sewing machine. Love the first pic and OLd things and Stuff. My fave though is Days in GhostLight ...simple yet so meaningful and moody.

Actually I did buy a car today, well, something like car ('99 Golf with 1.6 engine) and now I'm drinkin beer - after two pints of ordinary now I'm getting, well, pretty drunk with 9% Hiisi Humulus Lupus. Worth of try if you ever get close it.

That first is probably my own favorite too, even I can't clearly say why... but those colors and trees and that house together... and probably lot of that mood when walking to that unknown place (so I have bonus with that one comparing to you).

Yeah, those old sewing machines are awesome things, very beautiful cast-iron things. Piece of Art comparing todays machines. Thank you so much, I will raise this evening's first absinthe to you!

Thank you very much! I've lately feel that my captions suck, they are just repeating and repeating same shit... but this gives me hope. One more time: thank you very much!
