Fish Farm Manor

This is a local spot that was brought to my attention a few days ago, sadly in the time between then and me actually going there it was plastered all over Facebook and had sadly been hit hard by the fucking morons and idiots. Unfortunately there is a local goon who seems intent on splashing all the stuff everywhere these days and was responsible for this leak, which sadly appears to be the new normal in exploring now where the younger lot simply don't give a crap about anything as long as they get to see it.

This was initially a large rambling house, but in the 1950s a fish farm was constructed in the huge rear garden utilising the lake that was already there. It was purchased by it's last owners in 2005 and refurbished, and closed in 2018. The inside of the house was obviously set up to be used to house overnight guests at the fish farm as pretty much every bedroom had an attached bathroom, and there was also an attached large conference hall and swimming pool building to one side.

Overall it was a decent place to go for a wander, although saddening to see how quick the local morons have been in and smashed so much glass everywhere. Thankfully there were still enough nice areas to make it worthwhile but I can't see it staying like it for long. This was a very rare solo outing for me, after my initial plans went to crap. I don't do them often but I badly needed to get out so needs must and all that.

Beautiful location, but sad and surprised to hear just how quickly things went bad for it. At least you were able to photograph it while it's mostly untouched.

Imagine being rich enough to own an indoor personal swimming pool. I'd settle for a hot tub haha. Excellent photos! Number 6, 9, and 20 are my personal favorites.

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.

Wow what a cool find! Really love the bedroom spots. I have yet to see a time capsule house like this. I only hope i can see one before they all suffer similar social media plastered fates.

Interesting lounge chairs. Indoor pools have always given me the creeps. Nice set!
