Probably a bad idea regardless; sharp edges, loose fastners, etc that could slice you up.

I would agree...best to control the heat, as you tend to say. The first three feet might be fun til the damn thing collapses and drops you into oblivion. Getting sliced by a jagged edge sounds even less pleasant...

This could be a great ride. I choose baked beans.
Needles or a 20 year old grease trap would no be so good.
