Count two more in for a meet up. Used to love doing meetups on here back in 2011, hitting up some sewers (where someone had an accident and sprained their ankle) and even doing the old GM plant once or twice. I'd plan it myself but I'm way out of the loop on locations. Let's make it happen!

so I replied to this thread a whiiile ago and since I've seen a lot of us atl locals interested in meeting but nothing has come of it, I'd like to invite everyone here to a discord server!
it's a bit hard to keep in touch through a forum when we have easier instant messaging platforms at our fingertips and we could potentially get the ball rolling on this without hoping each of us log in sooner than every few months or so.
after seeing all the replies I talked to my buddy that I go all over north georgia exploring with and we agreed creating a discord server was a cool idea. I'm aware there is a UER discord server already but a more localized chat could be dope for actually meeting or chatting with each other in the same area. we live JUST north of atlanta and have been wanting to meet more urbex folks!

Well, at least I wasn't making shit up. I am indeed back in the general vicinity of Atlanta.
And, as skyeghost notes, this site does seem to have lost a wee bit of its luster as the premier communication medium that it was decades ago.

Hello people of Georgia 👋 I have recently moved from Massachusetts. I'm north of Atlanta in the Marietta area. I don't explore all that often unless it's pretty chill. I'm a bit older but can still keep up for the most part lol I am also a psych nurse as well and have worked in a couple interesting places. Like a lot of you I don't come here as often as I used to but I'm hoping to change that. This is still a great site and resource.
