I know posting location names is usually a big no-no, but it's a pretty well-known place. It's my favorite location, been there a few times and the last time I got a warning for trespassing telling me not to come back but like Eve kicked out of the Garden of Eden I've always longed to go back and so I've developed a little bit of an obsession with the location...
So I did some research digging into public records and while they do seem to be paying for security and doing SOMETHING there I can't imagine what it is. The last news articles talk about turning it into some racetrack rich people theme park but honestly, I don't see that happening considering the location. Additionally, the owner has disputed the value of the property for a few years now in the tax records.
Speaking of the owner of the property. I sent him an email asking if there would be any way to get permission to explore the hospital building on the premise since I assumed he would be demolishing them in the future anyway. However, he wrote me back saying I couldn't because "we have a contract to sell the hospital and it is being redeveloped into a working hospital" in his words exactly.
I'm curious if anyone has been to this area recently, I went in November of 2017 last, or if anyone else has any other information on it/the future of the property. It's an incredible place and I'd love to see it again one day.

The racetack people do own it and secure it. i havnt been out that way in ages so i cant be of too much help. but i know someone who thought about getting in not so long ago and they said it was locked up tight, and they just aborted mission. everyone has their own definition of that though.
i dont know if much has been done with the buildings but i heard rumors of demo. either full or a slow partial demo. so if someone could get out there, and photograph it before its gone, that would be cool.

Before you ask which way to go, remember where you've been.

You've been trespassed out and you just posted this were anyone can see it.
I don't see the rational point to all of this.
Obsession makes a lousy legal defense... if you do go there you might want to sit on those pics a while
Security guards/owner, run... unless they recognize you.
Cops, don't run unless you're 100% sure you can get away... which seems unlikely.

Posting info on a public forum before you do them is generally a bad plan especially using it's proper name.

I was there. The amount of folklore about it and its relative infamy have made it a hotspot for every idiot who believes in ghosts, so security is tight and there are people watching the property 24/7. You can figure out some creative ways to get in to the medical building, but it all requires some tools.

In all, it's not worth it. If your Charisma is high enough, just call the owner during the day and ask for a tour. Don't expect much.
