Abandoned Bowling Alley and Restaurant

Built in 1958 and closed in 2005, this bowling alley and restaurant went through both success and uncertainty nearing its closure.

Upon entry, I was greeted by a motorcycle that looks like it was driven straight through the front.

Next up was the bowling alley’s restaurant, which contained a fair amount of leather booths.

Near the restaurant was a few classic cash registers.

Moving on was the bowling alley itself. Although the lanes were removed, bowling balls and pins were littered around the area, along with numerous ceramic tableware.

Finally, I ended up shooting the children’s room, which had photos, drawings, and lots of toys scattered around the carpet.
Unfortunately, my camera was unable to take any good pictures of the ballroom, as it was both too dark and open to get a good picture.

Awwww yes. I have been bowling here since the 80's. Lots of memories. Access is hit or miss. It has been sealed for a number of years but reopened numerous times. My last visit was 3 weeks ago. Not sure what the status is now.

Awesome post! That motorcycle looks like a mid 80s Honda sabre/nighthawk to me. Pretty cool bike, my first bike was an 86 vf700c, very similar styling and build.

If this is the location I think it is I've had this one on my list for awhile. I've heard there's a lot of homeless activity and I knew someone in highschool that was actually robbed over here. Still a cool exploration!

Can this place be added to DB? If I'm not mistakened, it burnt down several weeks ago.

I just want to explore places my own family and friends wouldn't.

Yup it indeed burned down. I was unlucky enough to schedule my explore of the place 2 days after it burned
