Headed down on an overcast day. Managed to avoid security and narrowly slip by some fans taking pictures outside a film set up. Gave myself 30 minutes before security started their rounds again. Thought I had a POE, but after quickly dashing over, found it was only an electrical shed. Still cool to see nonetheless. I think some of the mechanical is original. Crept around back. Found the door many of you are probably aware of and held my breath as I turned the doorknob...success! I was in. Sadly, I didn't luck out twice and it only got me so far. Disappointing, but I recognize that this space definitely requires patience. Got burnt when I was being nosy by EMS of all people. Gave the confused driver a jaunty wave. Not sure who was more surprised, me or them. Decided to leave before they called security. Some fun tidbits I found outside. Found where Pennywise lives: Pennywise house by . Good try but i feel the days of entry into the buildings are in the past, ever since BC housing took over. Westlawn is pretty much impossible now that they boarded up all the second floor windows. And not to mention, all the other buildings are alarmed so i wouldnt suggest that

Hey sorry for the slow reply. Thank you for the tip. Might try Crease. Electric is still on there, so I do wonder about Paladin's response and stealthy motion detectors. Seems like there's also always a film crew there now (most productions look to be back in business from their winter breaks). Anyone hear about the historical society tours? Nothing on the BC Historical society website. Rumored that the Horticultural Society shows off a radio center on their bi-annual heritage walks. Anyone been to one of these?

I would suggest not trying Crease. The security there is not allowed to enter the building when the alarms go off, police and K9 get called in. The radio tower is above the industrial building, where the ambulance center is

I appreciate the info. Went by the other day and security is giving hard looks at everyone on the property.

I worked there recently on a movie production and even then the security measures were tight as hell! If you visit now you can barely take pictures of the property from outside without security getting involved. I'd heard people were scaling the drain pipes to get in on the second floor but even that's boarded up too. I can't help but feel it's the king of locations in the area but might have to cross this one off the list before giving it a shot

people still trying to get into crease eh? Amazing building ... spooky as heck when I worked nights there 30 years ago. I would not recommend west lawn due to reported exposed insulation, not sure if they cleaned any of that up. Dangerous too due to decay. and ghosts ... lots of ghosts ...

Just wear a respirator and you're good to go. I've been inside a few times and still no sign of ghosts...
