Since it is summer and the weather is a little nicer in the Great Lakes area. Anyone have pics of their favorite outdoor place to explore? Here’s mine

Great shot. Looks like a lot of fun... good to see you getting up and about
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

This isn't in the Great Lakes but this is probably my favorite "outdoor" spot. So much climbing to be done

Incredible shot! The black and white is rad. Looks like an awesome climb.

Not super urbex-y, just I place I love to frequent, year round. Pics are of the spring house, which once had a beautiful copper roof, destroyed by arsonvandalfucks. Grounds also have some foundations of a bottled water plant, hotel, and wading pool still fed by spring water (although occupied by aquatic plants and bullfrogs). Publicly view-able (Paradise Springs, Eagle WI, Kettle Moraine WI State Forest) and in the DB: https://www.uer.ca...ow.asp?locid=32888 The DB linked above was just after a dam failure - I am happy to say a successful crowd funding effort has resulted in repair of the dam and the water levels have returned to normal. Full history is in the DB as well, if you dig that sort of thing....

This is a great way to get your cardio in and it has the added bonus of avoiding the brutally hot days of the Texas summer.

Oops. I just noticed this thread is regional. I can remove my above post if I need to, just let me know.
