Actual Ghost towns in AZ

Hey guys! This question goes out to anyone who has been hitting up mines in Arizona. I've gone through one of those abandoned mine site databases and I'm planning on going up from Phoenix this weekend into the Prescott area and other sites in Yavapai county.

I'm not big into actually going in mines, but can anyone confirm if there are actually any old buildings there? Or is it true that most buildings have disappeared?

Thanks!

I would reach out the resident pro on this, Abby Normal. The sites and explorers I follow in regards to mines, show LOTS of sites that still have quite a few buildings on site. I am guessing she won't give you sites, but may well be able to comment on sites you already have info on... Good luck, stay safe, and pics or it never happened!

Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

There are a ton of rad old ghost towns in AZ. There is one called Ruby. It is a "museum" where you can walk around freely. Maintained by a care taker and there is an entrance fee to enter, however you can walk into the buildings. It's about 14 miles or so from the Mexican boarder, so caution should be used while in the area.

Arizona is full of places. I am moving back soon and cannot wait to see what else I can find. I know a few other places too.
