Open to the public 10a - 6p. Nothing too exciting inside, but it was cool just to be inside. Built in 1881, and moved 3 times. Once it was moved ashore while the original wooden pier was replaced with steel and concrete, the other 2 times were to extend the pier 300ft. 1.

Pretty cool
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. | |
Nice pics! Looks kinda like the little red lighthouse under the GWB in New York, tho I'm pretty sure you can't get inside. I've been to Hatteras lighthouse in NC (tourist spot, but pretty cool) also. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for checking it out and commenting! I wish it was more exciting inside, but to finally be inside one was still pretty cool....

The lighthouse under the GW was my first thought too! Cool pics. Though somehow with a name like Ann Arbor Park, I mistakenly expected it would be near Ann Arbor, but with a quick google search I was surprised to find it is nowhere near Ann Arbor.

That's funny. Because not only is it no where near Ann Arbor, but we actually had no clue we were even in MI until we got home. We were literally only a few hundred feet outside WI....
