Looks like the whole series is heavily focused on rooftoppers.
Taken from the seventh episode description: "Not all urbex is about scaling the tallest buildings." No shit.

I have since noticed that. It's still cool, but not what I was hoping for. Maybe there will be additional seasons that focus on industrial, underground, rurex, etc...

Yeah, I'm actually surprised they even bothered calling it "Urbex," as these days rooftopping is more generally seen as its own thing. I haven't bothered to watch an episode yet.

It's funny you say that - because in the series they talk about how with every roof these wreckless nuts hit and post online, it makes it harder to access in the future. I wonder how them participating in a docu-series helped future access?? The risks and stunts these knuckleheads do is un-effing-believable. They are going to kill themselves. They also say that guys (like me) that say they are going to kill themselves are ignorant. "They don't understand my capability, my balance, etc,". Dude you are running, jumping, somersaulting, and flipping on the literal edge of a roof 75 stories up with zero safety equipment of any kind. And they do it in countries that will quite literally PUT YOU IN PRISON for first offense trespassing. Yeah.... I'm the ignorant one. I'm a hater. *smh*

I am halfway through the series. There is one part where some kids get into a drain under construction, and on another two kids get into the ACTIVE Russian Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan where there is an abandoned rocket in a hangar and the entire Russian space shuttle program that was scrapped. Amusing how the shuttles look identical to the now retired American shuttles.
The episode that includes The Baikonur Cosmodrome, among more roof tops, was pretty cool and worth a look. The kids have to cross the desert at night to enter, and they spend the night in the cosmodrome.

I have friends who've visited the Baikonur Cosmodrome, and I suspect would've done a better job of it than the kids in this show (still without watching it).
Looking over the show's whole lineup, it's possible it is just following the trend of forcing everyone up on rooftops while forgetting abandonments and underground. That might end up being good for us, if you can tolerate some young Instagram celebrities claiming to be better explorers than you for having more likes of their roof ledge videos. It still could've been called a "Rooftopping" show and ignored other stuff and probably been more thematically consistent.
