I know that my account is relatively new here in terms of low activity, however I've recently relocated to a place not too far from Louisville. In the past, I have always been able to line up a friend to explore with as I generally try to avoid going alone just as an extra layer of precaution. Now that I am in a new area, I do not have anyone readily available to go exploring with. I have the weekends completely free, and long drives do not bother me. This means that I'd even be willing to connect with anyone interested who lives a few hours away. I'm mainly interested in exploring abandoned places, however I have done some rooftops in the past. I realize that this is a shot in the dark. At the very least, I hope to be able to connect with others who share this same hobby. Even if exploring together now isn't a feasible option, perhaps we'll be able to in the future.

I live in Cincinnati but make frequent trips down to Lexington to visit the girl friend. If you're interested, we could probably set something up. I have been lurking on this forum for some time and recently posted about an exploration I did near Frankfort, KY.

I've ended up going on some more trips by myself. I just tell a friend where I'm going and set a time for when they should hear from me. If you ever do want to go explore though, send me a private message and we'll work out the details.

I just relocated from New England to Charleston, WV. Louisville is about 3.5 hours from where I am, but when I get the chance to head out that way I will let you know. That's an area I've spent not enough time in.

I'd definitely be down for that. I happened to run into a group of locals on my first explore down here, and they've given me leads on a couple different places. Not all have been that big of places, but I'm slowly discovering new stuff to visit. If you want I'd also be down to head out your way to explore some of the stuff near you. I don't think I've had the opportunity to do any explores out that way before.

My whole family lives in Louisville, and could explore with you sometime I visit, but unfortunately, I'm not from there so don't know anywhere to recommend other than locations I've found online.

I currently don't have many places on the list for upcoming explores, however I'll likely continue to find new places through research because I get bored if I don't make an effort to go out and explore. Just send me a PM about a week in advance if you want to explore while you're in town. At this point it would likely be an hour or two outside of the city as I don't have any active leads in the immediate area.

Awesome dude. I’m into anything, doesn’t matter to me what it is really. Well besides houses, never been into that. But anything industrial, medical, mining, schools... love that kind of stuff especially. When I get all settled in at work down here and down into my normal schedule we will make some plans.

Sounds good. Just so you know, realistically I only have the next three weekends (after this one) available here in Louisville. So we would need to setup a location before then, and like I said I'd be down to drive out your way for a day too.

I live in Murray, KY. It's a bit of a ways away but I'd be down for a trip.
Take nothing but pictures, lea- Yeah yeah, you know where I'm going with this |

Oh bummer. I won't be free until after that. I don't go on a normal schedule here until I hit the production floor.

Dang, in the fall I'll be located a couple hours away from Louisville in the opposite direction of you. So a trip would still be possible, it just would probably be a two day trip for me.

Yea that's pretty far away. Unless you know any good locations between here and there, it would probably be too far. Most of the good stuff that I know of is in the opposite direction of you.

I'm down in Knoxville if you ever want to come down ( or I come up there). Shoot me a message!

I’m in the Cincinnati area and would be down to explore. Always looking for cool people to explore with

New to the site, totally not new to exploration. Been quite a few places. Looking for a good, reputable group to hook up with in the Jefferson County/Clark County, Indiana, Jefferson County, Kentucky area. I stick completely to urban exploration rules! My favorites are large structures; i.e. hospitals, industrial settings, large cemeteries, etc. Have weekends completely free and really wanting someone that knows the area well to show me some new spots!

I'm in Louisville, I have a place im wanting to checkout either tonight or tomorrow night. It's been a while since i've really explored, so I dont have much equipment besides a headlamp and first aid kit and possibly my motorcycle depending on the weather.
