Pretty sure there was a similar thread a long time ago, but it's been archived by now so I'll start a fresh one.

Post any film you've shot or film related stuff (pics of your film cameras or whatever) here, excluding polariods since there's a thread for that http://www.uer.ca/...=1&threadid=101919

Some shots from my Kodak Brownie Bulls-Eye. Kodak T-Max 120 re-rolled onto 620 spools.

And some 35 taken with a Minolta Hi-Matic 7s. A mix of Kodak Gold 400 and Ektar 100.

That's a wonderful selection of shots. I keep telling myself I need to take my film camera out more but for one reason or another it just never happens - I have shot a little bit but nothing near as good as how yours have come out.

These were all taken between 2012 and 2015...

Cool thread. There's some awesome analog people scattered about on this forum.

For your Brownie, great focusing. Does it allow you to see what you're focusing on or have you gotten good at the figuring?

My 620 Brownie (that I may have found in an abandonment) just lets you slide out for "portraits" but you're still just guessing. I just run 35mm in it.

Yes you do!

These are some great photos, reminds me how much I want to buy a wide angle lens. What camera/lens/film were these shot with?

It's got an eye level viewfinder and focusing for 4-15 ft. and infinite, but you have to guess on the focusing, I sometimes will walk one foot in front of the other starting at the camera to whatever it is I'm focusing on to get an idea of where to put the focus. I do that more with the Minolta though since the rangefinder is impossible to see except in extremely bright light.

Seeing some of your film shots was one of the reasons I decided to get back into shooting with film.

It's a Canon T70 with a Vivitar 19mm f3.8 wide angle. Nothing special but it's such an easy thing to use.

As for the film, it was all - with the exception of the B&W roll - purchased from Poundland, which I guess is the UK approximation of Dollar Tree or similar stores. Select stores like the one that was local to me used to get shipments of Agfaphoto Vista Plus 200 film (and sometimes the Kodak equivalent) which I'd be sure to grab whenever I could - it was literally the only retail place in the country where you could buy 35mm film for £1 a roll. Sadly Poundland stopped selling them nationwide a couple of years ago

That actually reminded me I bought a large lot of similar film a while ago that I really should get around to using!

I love the results you got with the Minolta, especially 1, 3, 4, 8 and 15. Excellent color rendering all around.

Add another bump for 6 and 7, but 5, 8 and 10 really do it for me too.

Did you have to do any repair work or alterations to make it useable? I have a couple of old 620 box cameras but I'd never thought of trying to run 35mm through them.

As it so happens, I was visiting my parents' house when I saw this thread, so I brought back some prints I made for photography classes in college which fit the theme. These were all shot with a loaner Mamiya C330 on (I think) Kodak Tmax 400. Forgive the shitty scans, they're a little better in person.

The walk measure is a great idea. Your seem to have that focus down pat.

Aw thanks. Places like this are great inspiration circles.

I took a q-tip and wiped the lens and the viewfinders- That's it. Those were all taken with this 1953 brownie:

To run 35mm, I just plop the roll centered in the 620 spot, tape the end to the roll up roll and go. It's a tight enough fit you don't need spacers or anything. (I tape a plastic binder ring to the 35mm can to "count the clicks" for advancing 18 sprockets, and reroll at the very end in the dark.

I have no desire to get a whole film camera/lenses set up. For me, I like the niche of being able to pull an old pretty camera off the display shelf and put it back to use.

The Sprocket Rocket was my "starter" camera for exposed over the sprocket photos. I don't use it anymore because I like the character of the antique cameras so much more.

It still took great photos, just a lot more edge distortion

Nice work, love the old scans, especially 6.

I send my film off to The Darkroom. I had tried using some local places that offered film developing but they were constantly botching stuff, not doing things as I asked etc.

Love the shots from both the Falcon and the Sprocket Rocket, though I'm not big on Lomography. I like that they have kept on pushing the lo-fi aesthetic but they ask way to much money for their products. I could go to some local antique stores and pick up about 5-6 older cameras that give the same look, I agree about antique cameras wholeheartedly.
