Good photos! What exactly are we looking at though? Abandoned rail yard?
Everyone has a dark side, mines just a little more illuminated. |

I feel like I've seen this place before, what state is it in?

this spot and these photos are awesome! trains and bandos are my favorite things. put em together and, ooooh!

This is so cool. It seems pretty rare to find a whole abandoned train link like that. I once made a mistake to explore some train tracks that I thought were abandoned but were really just storage (i.e. active).

Nothing thankfully, but turns out the tracks were visible from some near busy road and next thing I know I see a lit cop car (no siren) make a turn from the road to the direction of the tracks. I never got to see a cop and was on my way out anyway. I don't know for sure if it was a coincidence, but certainly realized the tracks were more live than i thought. Just a pic to give you an idea of why I thought it looked like a cool explore:

There should be some more locomotives there there decommissioned and MassDOT doesn't know what to do with them. The jewelry i.e. number boards, horns and bells have been removed. It disheartens me to see the one of the windows has been removed and not boarded up to keep water out. I have "a friend" who is trying to save some of thoes. www.f40ph.org

Hey there! Thanks for sharing the train adventure pictures. They look amazing! Trains and cabins have a certain charm, don't they? It's always fun to capture those unique moments during travels. The photos create a sense of wanderlust and make me want to hop on a train immediately. I have also booked some tickets at db, so I'm waiting for international train travel. Keep exploring and sharing your adventures with us!

For some reason I never thought I would see an abandoned MBTA train. That's cool!
