My dad sent me this just as I got home from school, would've loved to go shoot it. Such a savage prank. Gotta respect the effort these people put in to pull this off.

The car was attached to the lower part of the bridge... My question is, how??? The car had no engine/transmission and it was essentially stripped like a stunt car... So driving it from the trail would not have worked yet you can't drop it off the guard rail without somebody noticing... Actually, you bring the rope under the bridge, tie it then use a drone to lift the other end up and tie it to a car on a flatbed and roll it off... Brilliant!

I believe it was lifted from the ground. If you look closely at some of the images that were posted of it, you can clearly see a cable winch bolted to the floor inside the car with the cable going up to the under side of the bridge. Would not have been entirely impossible for someone to climb under the bridge from grade, tie off and pull the winch cable up from the ground (where the car would easily have been dragged/towed into place) then haul the car (which had been gutted with no engine/driveline or interior) up to where it was found dangling.

LMAO One way to make sure the kids can't borrow the car.

It takes zero effort to get onto the catwalk underneath the bridge, and it's not that far up from the Beechwood Drive access point, so I suspect this is exactly how it was done.

Not that its an incredibly hard place to get to, or a gem of a spot, but one can only expect security will be increased here following this..

Im pretty sure the “rabbit” in that escape room, had something to do with this..
They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn! |

I agree. My dad claimed in university in the 1970s the engineers disassembled an entire VW Bug and reassembled it on the roof of the engineering building. This sounds mildly similar, though I'd only expect them to do it during an event like Engineering Week.

I'll get the rope! If they think they're hot with their prop car, we'll show them how it's done with a real SUV!

FYI those bridge beams are rated pretty high, thus making this prank extremely simple. In fact rolling it down there would have been the hardest part of the whole thing. I would have loved to see it live. (Source: work in film) 1. Pre install all hardware + winch into car. Scrap car with engine and parts already removed costs ~250 in GTA. 2. People go up and run a normal climbing rope down, bring winch cable up. 3. Tie the winch cable around the beam OR beamclamp + shakle OR sling the beam and tie on. Many methods here. 4. turn on winch via wireless remote and tada.
On a side note, this exact thing has been done a few times in the Hearn.
