Butterknives

I don't think many people talk much about this method of getting past doors. My friends and I have come to realize how essential they are for easily getting past doors, especially roof doors. I'm in no way the pioneer of this technique, I merely started doing it because of other explorers. I'm headed to Chicago this week to explore some rooftops a bit and I guess I'm wondering if anyone has gotten in massive B&E trouble because of butterknives versus just getting caught for trespassing.

I could see how that could be a b&e thing. A butter knife isnt something most people just carry around. I am sure you could pack some food in your back pack and explain it though. Plausible deniability. lol

If you cut a triangle out of the card on the long side so that the remaining the remaining sliver is small enough to push the little door thing in while you hold the bigger side

If there is something I want to do then Ill do it and if there is something I don't want to do than I wont do it. That's the Dandy way baby.

Sleeve of crackers, bit of a cheese ball in a baggie, and a butter knife. Store them all in the same backpack pouch.

This isn't B&E advice, this is just me helping you get some easily accessible snackage going.

You'd be surprised what you'd find in an average purse..

I know mine has silverware. Past lunches at work that I've cleaned in the break room. Once I get home forgot to take them out and routinely forget about them because I eventually raided a fast food place of their plastic utensils to stash at work.

Edit; grammar, woo!

We should add some UER engraved butter knives to the new decal store.

As Dark said, plastic cards are my go-to for door shims, I've also used the small plastic cards you can put on your key-chain in a pinch. Everyone has cards in their wallet, and a card wont scratch up the door like a metal shiv would.

Let me in.

I used butterknives for door bypass before I started using metal bypass tools and cut-up gift cards. All of them get the same thing done, but I kind of like the aesthetic of the metal bypass tools more than that of carrying a butterknife around. I sometimes still use one depending on where I am though, even if just out of convenience
