https://youtu.be/9nkx_WxmJGg Built in the 1200's the monastery of Sant'Anna in Monte, called "de vivis acquis", was built on land donated by Queen Agnes of the Sacred specus to the monks of Subiaco. In 1342, two monks of the aforesaid monastery, with the permission of their abbot, founded this building. Its slow decline begins about three hundred years later, in 1500, with several raids by the Saracens. Towards the middle of 700, a first attempt is initiated restructuring, to the abbot by Nicola Salerno.

These are really incredible. The videos themselves are really stable and interesting, and the history you provide just brings it full circle. I subscribed, thanks for these awesome videos! What's it like living as an American in Italy? Is there a huge language barrier, or do you know your way around the language?

Hi Hoover, Thanks for following. Yeah, the camera rig I am using takes all the shack out. Smooth as glass. I am going to do a detailed video on my whole camera rig soon. As for living in Italy, no I don;t speak the language, but I am learning. Glad we have Google Translate. I have TONS more video scheduled of some crazy locations.

That's so great, what a cultural place to explore. I'm jealous! Can't wait to see more

Very nice work, you really do have a good formula going for these videos. The stability and pacing of your shots combined with the quiet ambiance and subtle music makes your videos a pleasure to watch, it's a huge relief to see content like this in a sea of shaky videos with irrelevant narration. Keep up the good work.
