It has recently become a historical landmark. Vandals have ruined this place for everyone. Two buildings were recently set or caught on fire. The Downey Sheriff's department has officers hidden inside the property as well as constantly patrolling it. I talked to a patrolling sheriff and was told that because of the two fires, they are no longer giving warnings or tickets..they arrest anyone and everyone caught trespassing! $1000 fine and jail time.
