I was exploring some buildings in my city and I came across this in a stairwell. It looked rather intimidating, so I took a few pics. https://m.imgur.com/a/z8Nbk That brings me to my question, does anybody have pictures of weird features in locations that don't quite fit?

No.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

Not sure how that's strange- it just looks like they wanted to keep people out, and metal bars look more secure than wooden doors. I've seen plenty of these doors out and about myself. Usually there's something interesting on the other side.
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there. |

Judging by the twisted bars that door is designed to be right there where it is. A "fancy" way to keep people out without looking like a big steel door.

Had one like that on my patio down in Florida. Sometimes a screen door is not enough security when you want to let the nice Florida air blow in. But seen many stairwells to open air apartment complexes secured like that.
