This last Friday I finally climbed the building I've had my eyes on for weeks, and it was one of the greatest times I've ever had. Climbing walls, climbing super high ladders, sneaking around, feeling the adrenaline, doing things so completely uncharacteristic of myself, it was amazing. Up there in the cold, in the dark, it was just me and my best friend. Nothing else mattered up there but us. Sitting on the edge watching the cars and looking at the lights, I thought of how through everything me and him have been like brothers, and then at that moment, it was almost as if that bond manifested itself literally: just us and a far away world. I wish that moment would've lasted forever.

Cool pics man and congrats on making to a new personal milestone of yours. The skyline pics are awesome. Have fun out there and stay safe.
Side note: If that pic of you climbing is integral to the infiltration of this location I might recommend you take it down. All too often it happens where next time you go back you find a cage over something like that.
Never climb after somebody with ulcerative colitis. -Steed |

I appreciate the advice man that's good thinking, however its not an integral part. Actually the first time I made an attempt I didn't even think of climbing down those pipes so I actually jumped down about a floor hahaha. But again I really appreciate the advice I'll keep that in mind for the future!

Those conduits are a bad bet waiting to pay off in blood. Not designed to support that kind of load and anchors are notorious for corroding when in masonry. Jumping like that is begging for an acute ankle/knee/back/head injury or problems not so far down the road. Keeping descents under control at all times means you'll still be able to climb decades later... A man I knew always liked to jump out of the bed of his pick up rather than climb down. Did it hundreds of times. He was fit and not overweight. At 36 he had a completely trashed spine. Not from one bad jump but from the combined impact stress of many jumps over a couple years. It will never fully heal and it was completely preventable. Funny thing is I had warned him about that years earlier... it's predictable.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

There is nothing quite like that feeling of sitting there watching everything but feeling invisible. It's almost a surreal feeling. I've found a couple spots in my city that I can that and I love it! Nice set!
