So I was going on a trip to Glacier Nat'l Park recently, and I just couldn't help but notice how many of these abandoned towns and houses there were along the major highways of Montana. Seriously, back in Minnesota where I am, you really have to dig deep to find small stuff like this. I would have definitely explored every site we came across, but of course I was with my family. They're basically blind to how cool abandoned towns and other shit like this is. Untitled I'm currently trying to make a route for an urbex road trip next year with some buddies, and Montana's definitely on the top of my list. Anyone here recommend some other cool/iconic areas with spots? I'm not asking for direct spots, just some areas of the state that have some particularly cool shit.

Man it's great you can find small stuff like this so easily! Is it hard to find people to go exploring with in Montana since it's so sparsely populated?

Incredibly so. This is my second season out here and I haven't found any other active Montana explorers to meet up with- just old UER threads and profiles that haven't been active in years.
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there. |
