Advice on Edmonton Drain Exploration!
< on 9/28/2017 11:55 PM >
Posted on Forum: UER ForumQuote
Spent the last couple of weeks mapping out some of the drains around Edmonton and have visited a total of 6..

I have lots of experience drain hopping around the UK but its significantly different this part of the world.

I am certainly not looking for leads on sites as I wouldn't want anyone to take the fun out of what I have been doing. ;D

But I was wondering if anyone had any advice on things to watch out for, areas to avoid, etc..

Cheers!

Cool dude!

If you see toilet paper and it smells like shampoo (or sh*t), leave.

Watch out for rusty rungs, wear gloves and don't climb if it's hella rusty.

If you hear "thud-thud" over a manhole, don't pop out of it.

I'm not too familiar with areas to avoid, I'm down in YYC.

Otherwise check out these threads, found on Mod DJ Craig's list of Common Thread Topics:

Awesome advice, much appreciated! ;D

And thank you for taking the time to send the collection of links. Going to take some time to read through everything..

Cheers!
