I made a few trips here when I first moved to Tampa. It was gradually falling apart, and sadly, it's been demolished now. I wish I would have kept more pictures of it, but this is all I was able to find. There are a ton more at this link though: http://www.abandon...ctorian-treehouse/ Upstairs there were kids' rooms and a bathroom. The property had a bunch of other interesting buildings, too— one was some kind of warehouse for outdated computer hardware. Has anyone else been to this treehouse? RIP

How did I miss this pic???? Looks like a cool place - don't have time to check out the gallery link, bc I know exactly why I haven't seen this post. WAAAYYY too busy with adult stuff (work, driving kid around, etc). Really neat place. I haven't heard of it nor seen it before, but that means less than nothing. Welcome to UER - hope to see more pics from your explores soon.

That was pretty cool
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. | |
Too bad it is gone, but that looks like it was a great place to explore!

Yes, it's sad that all is demolished, but a friend and I photographed this in the midst of an intense thunderstorm. Here's the best I could do under the circumstances.

Yeah, but that sky...I want to start making music just so I can request your permission to use that image as an album cover.
