Used to do overnighters at an abandoned park in southern Ontario around 1990. Usually involving lots of LSD. Valentino Park. Abandoned in the 70's and left largely untouched until it was razed in the 90s. Hidden in the woods off a dirt road 10km from the nearest town. There was even still power in the kitchen/cafeteria building, and the rooms behind the bandshell were perfectly intact (one was still fully furnished, as a bedroom) so great for sleeping in when it was too cold to just sleep on the stage. But I preferred to sleep in the bed of the old 40s era pickup truck beside the swimming pool.

I wish I carried a camera back then.

Power plant, and I have napped in a few. I keep meaning to camp in a drain, but kids happened instead. Maybe when they're older...

Most places I've explored, I probably wouldn't want to sleep in what with the funny smells, mold, asbestos, etc... This one had pretty good air flow though where we slept.

I have camped on and off at several locations throughout the years. Probably the craziest was in a kayak during a trip down a river where we hit up a factory via water entry many moons ago. Great times. I love the mine photos.

Yes. More likely it was a thing i did 5 - 8 years ago.
Rooftops (factory rooftops, sometimes even block house rooftops which were accessible in the middle of night). I live in a city where are lots of seagulls so the very first thing almost precisely in 5AM are some seagull screams. And they don't stop. They usually keep on yelling until 7AM.
Ohhh. Once i slept in a half-factory near port where were hundreds of seagulls. Whenever the guard was walking rounds around territory, seagulls would become "alive" and make a concert(screaming).

Bunkers, too but there are two kinds of bunkers - the ones which are military ones, inside forests or bunkers which are inside city. Sleep quality sucks in those which are located in the city. You hear extremely creepy echoes in hallways all the time, some weird sounds which comes from foreground. So yeah zero sleeping quality in city bunkers. In former military bunkers it's nice and quiet unless it's a well-known spot where some adventurers might go in the middle of the night to party.

Abandoned buildings or factories - coldest nights ever, wind everywhere, i think it was a stupid idea to sleep in a factory where all the windows are smashed.

I've built a tent next to old building foundations in a middle of a field. Works as a wind shield, a little bit. There weren't any forests nearby.

Now i think it's better to build up tent in a safe distance, 1-2 kilometers away from the place i want to explore or have already explored (if it's in countryside). Because i wouldn't want to wake up and find out that the building is set on fire by a crazy arsonist or some criminals have arrived to a "secret place" where to hide a dead body or whatsoever.

I was thinking about spending the night in an abandoned building with a friend, Just to see what it would feel like to wake up in one of theses places.
Have anyone ever slept-over at a location ?

Yup.

But we're soft-and-spoiled older folks, so we only did it out of necessity.

(i.e. The entry/exit were long-and-involved and both had to be done under the cover of darkness so we could see the security coming.)

It was less of sleeping-in-a-place, and more of catching naps in the early morning and hiding out (and napping) until sunset, when we could get out.

Once we worked out a better entry/exit, we stopped doing it that way. But can't buy those life experiences.

Check out the "CBC's" in my profiles "ue conventions"
We've have a few camp outs at an abandon prison.

They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn!

I've done overnight hangouts on the occasions we've decided to climb up somewhere and get drunk, just to give everyone time to get to a place where they can safely climb down.

Also slept in a lot of random places when I was younger and didn't have a steady place to live, as long as at least one of you is a light sleeper it's chill. I prefer to sleep in a hammock if possible due to the general conditions of the floors in a lot of places. Also if you have any vague interest/belief in ghosts, staying a full night in an allegedly haunted place is fun.

Yes. Not for fun but because I needed a cheap place to sleep while biking far. Luckily, the spot still had a bed!
