Although this isn't the busiest of the regional forums, I still think that this part of the country is an excellent place to be an explorer, with loads of amazing locations, of which I've only been fortunate to see a small fraction. Thanks for looking!

You're right, there are a lot of amazing locations around here...and so close together. In the midwest/west, you can find lots of beautiful things but it takes 2 days to drive between them. And I love le elegantly placed fly-swatter in number 6.
New. Improved? ... Extra shiny! |

excellent shots. The composition is superb.

Great job! Some nice POVs here. You've had a busy year.

I like #3. What is #9?
Everyone has a dark side, mines just a little more illuminated. |

So many choices! Really like you black & whites, prairie house and centered chair to name a few.

Cool shots. Great to see all these spots rounded up into one post. And I'm especially happy to see 26 and 27.

Thanks, everyone!

I know some buildings here are gone, but the storage building in this shot was definitely still here as of April, and unless they've gone ahead with demolition since then I'd imagine it's still standing. It's easily the best part of the remaining complex.

Yeh, from what I can tell, they finally started demo last month. I could only find a grainy cell shot from one of the officials that pushed to finally get it all demoed.

Damn, that sucks. I know it's been a long time coming, but it was still a cool, laid back spot, despite how trashed it was.

13, 15, and 16 are fantastic! You've got a good variation in architecture here.

I enjoyed the set very much!
