Hey everyone, AK here. I'm a freshie to this forum and fairly new to UE although I've been interested in abandoned and deserted locations ever since I can remember. Never actually made it to one until a few days ago. My buddy and I visited the good ol' Linseed factory which I'm sure just about everyone here knows about. Based on my comparison to older pictures it has really gone downhill. It's been wired shut so entering the building was a bit of a tight squeeze. Here are some shots I took from the day, any critiques welcome. I also scouted out the cookie palace last night at around 11pm doing a perimeter check. There were a few vehicles parked around the west side of the complex and a van right up at the front entrance of the building so not too sure about what was going on there. Couldn't identify any clear POE, I'm going to go visit again this weekend. I'm looking forward to becoming a part of the community here and I'd love to meet up with some of you guys in the near future for an exploration

Eyes peeled by AK, on Flickr We we're a little thrown off by this pigeon guarding the stairs to the rooftop. I almost felt a little bad for the fellow, seems like he was lonely, exiled by his own kind.
The Lonely Pigeon by AK, on Flickr A noise on the roof startled us, we asked it a few questions. Turns out it we were speaking to an old metal sheet off a door dangling in the wind.

Nice shots, however best to refrain from naming abandoned spots so that people can't easily find them using google for 5 seconds. Use code words!

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. | |
Thanks for the warm welcome I went back there a couple nights ago. Happy to report that our lonely pigeon friend found himself a hen, a few other pigeon couples were roosting nearby too If anyone wants to meet up and explore/shoot send me a PM
