The antici...pation you get just before a UE session is one of the best adrenaline rushes I have ever regularly achieved. It's almost enough to get me jumping up and down in giddy childlike excitement. (and I'm a 6'1 longhair, so I'm sure it looks pretty funny)
I remember my first trip out with the Wraiths (Jester, Pixie, and Nemos) was the Alouette Medium Security Prison (http://www.wraiths.org/alouette.htm). While we were scouting the perimeter, I was hard-pressed to keep myself from scaling the fences.
Other times, such as the discovery of a scary rake that we found hanging in a tree just outside an abandoned house (http://www.wraiths.org/120seconds.htm), I get this buzzing in the back of my head, like my id going "Hey man, you know this, where have we seen this before? A couple young people going into an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere? EVERY horror movie starts out that way, and you KNOW that as soon as you climb into the window some hideously deformed/deranged freak is going to try and decapitate you so he can make furniture from your bones..." It goes on and on in my head pretty much the whole time until I'm back in the car. I think that's part of why I enjoy it so much.
