Fort Stark New Castle, NH

|  My girlfriend and I recently went up to Castle Rock, NH just on the Maine border along the coast and explored some old WW1 and WW2 era bunkers and military forts. The coolest being Fort Stark. The large white building was fenced off heavily but we found two holes large enough to crawl through.
You can see the building is rather dilapidated from the outside and the old artillery guns are long gone and since filled with water, some trash and a random school desk. We walked around the grounds and found a few possible points to enter, but most were too narrow. You could see great entrance points were recently boarded up too, but we ended up going through a small window in the front of the building. You can kind of see it in the first picture, along the stairs heading up. It was tight and a little sketchy but once we were in it was game on.
The building is very old, and a lot of the graffiti seemed pretty old too. As we climbed down the building it continued to get colder and colder and much darker until we made it to steep stairs, which in all honesty was basically a ladder. We continued down there and found old bathrooms, offices and what seemed to be sealed corridors going deeper.
It was all a very cool experience between the main control center building and the bunkers. The bunkers are rather easy to navigate, though the main white building was harder I wouldn't call it more than a mild challenge. It was definitely worth the tight spaces.
