Good find!

How was the house? Gutted or a work in progress?

That's difficult to say. It looked like someone had begun fixing it up and then gave up. I think there may be someone putting in the bare minimum to keep the property from falling apart.

2x on the moss covered Ford. Gotta wonder how long something has to sit to get moss to grow on the headlights like that. Very nice set!

This is the one off highway 30 right? I'm not going to give an exact area since I think thats against the rules. If it is that one then it was the victim of a fire a few years ago that damaged it and its since been trashed by homeless people coming in and out over the years.

Word is that the builder did not have permitting for constructing the house, which was also not in compliance with building codes, so it was never finished.

I'd love to "rescue" some of those windows...

I don't know what to make of that house's design. Mmmmmm... It's like... design elements borrowed from five different decades, from both commercial and residential structures, thrown together into something that's just butt-ass ugly. Probably some architect was searching for his or her own unique style, built this, stood back, said, "FUUUUUUU--", and is now teaching Architecture 101 at a nearby community college.
