Is that a mannequin? That would scare the crap out of me if I entered a room and saw that. lol

Houses like this are always mysterious and weird. Great captures across these places. All of these places have some little detail that make them pretty awesome, aside from the "up and left" preservation. Awesome stuff, man.

Gorgeous photos. I'm surprised that carousel horse in the one photo, hasn't collapsed to the ground yet. (2)

Thanks y'all. Yep, that was a mannequin and yes, it startled me. All of these shoots were really fast. 2 because of concern for being discovered and the other because of a major flea infestation/heat. I love coming across these places but they seem so few and far between, especially in this condition. Typically I run across old farm houses that are pretty trashed and have been squatted in.

The rooms FULL of old antiques! What a find. What a cool house with lovely stairwells. That one photo of green crispy paint and lamps hanging from the ceiling is awesome. The black and white bathroom shot is my favorite. It just seems to tell a deeper story.
A place of Mystery is Always worth a curiosity trip! |

HEY! That was my grandmother's house! Its not abandoned, she just went on a trip to Europe for a few months and is a sloppy housekeeper.

Exquisite house, beautiful stained glass windows and a marvelous staircase. It's a shame it's all falling apart and neglected, really makes you wonder what series of events led to this house, full of obvious sentimental objects, to be left to decay. Thanks for the pics.
