A Hotel from the 1800's that most know about. I just thought I would add my shots from a trip out there. It looks too far gone to save, but it was probably an awesome place in it's day. I really wanted to get to this place before it fell down. 1.

I for one, Just had to leave you a comment. You did an awesome job on these shots. Gotta love old Hotels with slatted walls...Pic 9 and 11..two of my faves here. The doorknob and the dark stairwell are cool takes as well

Very nice, this is a cool place. I think with some money and more manpower they could fix this place up, but in the state it's in currently, that's hard to do with just volunteers. Did you check out the concrete remains of the mill across the street or the smaller buildings around the hotel?

Thank you! I think this is just an awesome place for photos from any camera. I only had my point and shoot that day, and I like doing pano's often to see how they turn out.

Thanks! I could only imagine the money that it would take. The landscaping was being maintained at one point and it seemed to just stop. If somebody could manage to restore that, it would be awesome! I did get around the different places, but not into many near the truss company. The chem plant was cool also, but I have more photos of the Hotel. I really wanted to check the old Post office more, but moved across to the ruins and didn't get back for more than a few outside shots.

2. The tunnel that runs from the old plant to the ruins. Edit was not long after they released the Nik collection for free, so it's been run through that.

I hope they salvage the antiques before they tear it down - or it falls down. That pic of the doorknob is great! It's a gorgeous piece of hardware. They charge an A$$load for a reproduction at Restoration Hardware for things like that.

Thanks! I really hope that somebody could bring it back. Mentioning the cost of period hardware just adds to the cost if somebody was to replace all the missing parts there.
