Looking for an abandoned place for dramatic portraits/pictures

Hi everyone,

I'm a portait photographer looking for new spots.

I have some new themes for my future photoshoot sessions and I'd like to find an abandoned spot(s) where I could shoot with my model. Something dramatic that could eventually have broken mirrors/windows, old couches/chairs etc.

It can be anywhere in the 6ix (preferably near Toronto or Scarborough), as long as not that many people do go there so I can do my job without any problem.
For access to it, as long as it is not insanely hard it should be fine, I do rooftops and other urban explorations in downtown frequently.

I looked through several pages/websites like this one " http://ilovetoront...exploration-photos " but those links are old and I don't know what are the current status of these buildings/places, like if they got demolished or not.

To get an idea of what i'm looking for, here could be some examples I found on internet

Thanks in advance for your help

That diptych is mine. It's also made of photos from 2010-2012.

For future reference, you might want to open with examples of work you've done, as opposed to lazily posting one of the first Google searches. You know, so we don't assume you are a weener millennial 8$ coffee artisanal cupcake non-standard-work fauxtographer.

The best way to figure out the current status of buildings/find buildings is to get out and look around. Epic spots are few and far between in Ontario these days, and it seems the second that people start finding out where they are, they become trashed, so most people are unwilling to share.

There's a meet (or at least I think these are still happening?) every third Saturday of the month in downtown Toronto, that could be a good way to get out and brainstorm with others.

Freak - those cupcakes do not look remotely appetizing...

Someone just went into a garden threw some stuff in a box and then dumped it onto some otherwise perfectly good cupcakes.

PM me some kind of proof that you actually are a photographer i could hook you up with a few spots near Ottawa.

Hey again,

This is a website I started 2 days ago to build up and add some of my work. I haven't put all my work in it and I am far from being done.

I don't know if this is some kind of proof, but if it satisfies any of you, please PM me some locations around Toronto and also Ottawa.

Thanks again for your help
