It looks like an eyeball

360 by pip lol, on Flickr

I have recently been taking some 360 degree pictures and video. The photos and video are pretty cool on their own but I wanted something that was more interactive. The link below goes to a site called Holobuilder, which can be used to create controllable 360° environments sort of “street view-esque”. This photo tour is of the First Church of Filthy Hills. Not every room in the church is included, but that may change in the future.

just curious what lens head and software are you using?

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

That's pretty cool
Too bad the subject sucks. Be interesting to see a good subject like a power plant, com center etc shot like this.
Nice job in lining all that up.
Hope to see more of these.
I'm curious as well as to the lense you used?

I am using a Samsung Gear 360 to take the pictures. As far as stitching the pictures I am using the 360 Action Director, which comes with the camera. And Holobuilder was used for making the tour.

There is a much more interesting one in the making; it is just not quite ready for public consumption. This location was small so it was fairly easy to make.

They have the software to make the tours and they host the tours. You can get your tour as a Link " Like I did in this case" or you can get code that can be embedded in a website.

If you find some free software that can do this stuff let me know. Most of the software I saw was rather expensive and you still needed to have a place to host the content. There is some google earth street view app that some are using to upload images of places that google isn’t willing to go. you visit looks cool, I don’t know whether I can incorporate video footage in my tours like you can in you visit.

The software that I am using does allow for 3D scanning, by what I can tell you have to draw up a floor plan first before the app can scan. At the moment my camera is not compatible with my phone and you have to be connected to the internet for the app to work. For the time being I am going to eyeball the shots I need and hope for the best…And take still frames from the video footage to fill in any gaps.
