That house, along with a few others, was still in the process of being fixed up when I went in 2014.
Anyone been there recently? Is it still worth a trip to visit?

I heard recently that the majority of the town has been leveled.

Was at that location in August 2017 with the wife; there was two gentlemen with a bobcat in the process of levelling one of the buildings, unfortunately. Will definitely pass by that area again this summer, hopefully all is not gone by then but i'm not counting on it.

Those are some amazing photos. Just curious, what kind of camera/lens do you use for this?

What makes you ask that?? These shots could have been captured with almost any camera. The only exception being the Sepia toned #1 above (judging by the perspective it was taken with a zoom lens longer than 100mm) and the very first photo of the thread, which looks pretty wide but could still be captured on most cameras without any specialty lens. The rest of the effects are all done on the computer.

I have a canon rebel t3i and a 6D. None of these photos were done with a zoom. I used mostly a 50mm prime lens

What an awesome thread, great work! I'll be heading to Saskatchewan for the first time next week and will be spending a few evenings meandering around between Saskatoon and Prince Albert. Have any of you been to Smuts this year? Is there anything left? Doesn't take much to pique my interest, even if only a few buildings remain. Any other similar townsites within 100 km of Saskatoon and Prince Albert? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to discuss it publicly.

Went for a drive on Saturday and came across a place I've never been to before.
