Sorry randomsquephoto I don't have any new empty city photos to share at the moment. It's possible if we get a stay in place lockdown issued tonight starting tomorrow that I will not have city shots again till the ordeal is mostly resolved. Anyhow here are some sh*tty pictures from sh*tty places i've been to, too many times. Define sh*tty: insanely good but also sh*tty like bad due to excess number of times going and strain I have caused on my body stressing about pictures I have taken from them, as well as physical strain from being careless.

certainly not an everyday sight:

Abandoned wing of a care facility - the facility still operates without the use of 1/4 of the building.

How would people on this forum feel about me creating a thread that's like a photo a day during quarantine?

But in this thread photos don't have to be urban exploration... Like lately I have been staying home but been fortunate to go out on walks with my sister and her dog in the neighborhood and been practicing taking pictures of flowers and nature. I am not sure if this would be appropriate and or if people would appreciate this on UER.

My sister and her boyfriend are setting up camp in the living room right now. I guess its national camp at home day, Created specially for this Pandemic we are facing. Are any of you guys participating and camping at home this evening ???

1.

PS Beautiful photos corvidcache. That section of the senior home is very photogenic and pretty. I might have explored the inside of that part.

I personally would love a photo-a-day thread. I've been getting out for walks every day and I've been trying to take my camera at least half of my walk. I don't have much to show for urbex though.

I definitely don't have plans to camp at home because I love my goddamn mattress.

& thanks I'm always nervous about how many people are parked out back so I never bother trying to get in, and I've never been by at night. I just admire the outside.

Back is sore from sitting on my a*s for tooooooooooo long. Thinking about going to some spots, around where I live, like ten minute drive away and doing some walking/picture taking. Perhaps practice taking texture shots. These are some pictures of pictures within very old newsprints.

This week I have been doing a practice activity which I am only allowing myself to shoot at F2 on my 35mm lens. Just to learn more about depth of field ect. Like closer to subject very little in focus further away and more gets in focus. Fun stuff! Maybe on Sunday I will do the opposite and try shooting for the whole week at F16.

I want to go exploring so bad!!!!!! Will read a chapter of my book Rule of the Bone, shower and then probably go for a walk around the neighborhood instead. There's a silo in Washington that I want to walk inside really badly, but doubt I will ever make it inside it. Lol and another one in Portland that may be a tad on the active side also that I really want to walk inside but doubt I ever will. But gotta stay positive haha.

PS... I posted pictures within this Pacific Northwest photo a day thread earlier that were of a structure that worked in relation to this stuff. I think it was a rig that would hold logs and organize them to then be conveyored into this large "full of pigeon shit" grinding factory that would grind the logs into pulp for paper production . That is my guess. Never actually read any of that.
