These are some incredible pictures, texano. I'm loving the juxtaposition of focusing on tiny details with the larger scale shots. Honestly, I'm really having a hard time picking favorites. All of the chapels are crazy beautiful, wish we had more stuff like that where I'm at! I can't believe the stained glass windows are still intact. Between the prosthetic leg and mummified dog, I'd say you've had an extremely successful experience finding weird stuff while exploring.

Thanks. I am happy that people are enjoying my photos. Yeah, obviously we don't have the spots the NE and rust belt have, but we definitely have some interesting locations. Even though some are on the chopping block. Here are some new ones...

Hey! Good to see you around these parts. I love these photos. A few I recognize, either from your prior Flickr posts or from personal memory, but most of them I can't say I know a whole lot about. Did the house you posted with the three stained glass window pains along the stairway (above the piano keys I think) burn down? I never went there, but remember how striking that place was - if it's the one I'm thinking of. At the risk of repeating what everyone else has said, your photos really are quite awesome! I hope you post more often!

Hey Dee...thanks! Gonna hit you back on flickr in a bit. Yes, the house with the stained glass did burn down unfortunately. Such a bummer.

Some truly amazing shots and explores!

Damn Texano, you have a whole career out of these. Now I feel like a poor child who can't even afford a fraction of these luxuries (special mention to the soggy ceiling fan and the mummified dog--where would you even find something like that). Congrats!
