I am proud to say that I've just done my first urban exploration! I've been wanting to do this for a few weeks, but time just got away from me. I could see a little bit of the inside as I inched closer to the house, but my anxiety got the better of me and I didn't go in. I am itching to go back already. I only stayed for a few minutes because, as I said, this was my first time so I was very nervous.

Neat, and congrats. I'd be careful though, that is a cultivated field behind the house. So while someone might not be on site all the time, it isn't truly abandoned either. Still though, awesome find. I'd love to find places like that up here, but no go.

Love old stone houses like that, now go Get some interior shots!

Good find! Seems like it has the potential to be a good first explore. Do you happen to know when it was built or any other history on it? Looking forward to your interior shots.

Oh my god that poor land yacht... gotta wonder how cars end up like this. Wish I could tell what it was. Paging Dr. Samurai!

You go nuts in the NE... explorer fantasy land.
I was wondering what happened to you Tante... thought you been arrested weeks ago I echo the thought DarkAngel expressed about caution. Your biggest fear should be falling through the floor. Be very careful on staircases. Always bring at 2 flashlights.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

that Ford land yacht was not an LTD II... it predates the LTD II by a couple of years. It's a Ford Elite, which actually is more desirable than the LTD II as it was only made for a couple of years. In the next couple of pics I see a Olds Silhouette minivan (I made the dashboards for that series) and an F150 carcass. It's too bad about that Elite...

These are some great shots. Glad to see you were able to get a great first explore. What part of the state are you in?
