Condemned by Fire

So my brother and I were going to explore an old steam plant but it was sealed up fairly well and didn't feel like climbing through razor wire. We walked around a little bit and stumbled on this old art space. there were 5 floors of old apartments rented out as personal studios for local artists to use how they pleased.

It closed after a small refrigerator caught on fire and the fire department discovered the state of the building was unfit for occupancy due to fire codes and had to be closed. During the explore, we didn't know why it was closed off and we thought the fire was just a piece of art for one of the yearly art shows, turns out it was real evidence.

I see a tag in one of your shots, how is the place doing in terms of vandalism and scrapping? It was mint earlier in the year.

Nice, I saw a way in here a few months back but the person I was with didn't want to go in. I'll have to get back there soon.

It looks like the first to be damaged was the door locks, all were licked in if not left open.

There were also the piles of trash in the hallways but I assume a lot of that was reason for closure. It just makes it hard to walk around.

Other than that, tagging is minimal and most of the rooms haven't been touched and are left mostly as they were

I'm like 99% sure that my buddy used to work in this building. The incident happened within the past year, right?

Yeah, this is the one. It closed down pretty much exactly one year ago.
