There's a large section of a city block in downtown Ottawa that's fenced off to eventually be redeveloped, with four commercial-residential buildings, a house, and a shed on it. Not everything is accessible due to boarding or street-facing entrances. I'll start with a few grainy shots when I scoped out the area since I wasn't able to get any with my camera without attracting attention. The contractor office has been closed since August 2008, based on the calendars left behind, while Streetview shows that most of the block was still active in April 2012 but fenced off by July 2012. There's some graffiti but mostly outside, while the inside of all the buildings is pretty trashed. The contractor office is the least damaged but also the most decayed. 1. I love the blueprint.

There was a contracting office in that building. #34 is a shelf filled with large plans, elevation drawings, etc. Strange how much was left behind in there, I can only assume they went out of business and vacated quickly.

Cool set thanks for the share! #32...whatta bunch of knobs >.<

So I was by there today (I work in the area, perfect for scoping it out) and there were a few landscape trucks and an excavator clearing out the brush and junk on the property. I also noticed an armed officer walking between the buildings, likely looking for any squatters. Looks like this place won't be around for long.

Nice! I'm loving all the bones and the room full of toilets.

So this place is actually still around:
Might be time to plan another visit...
