Not sure how this place got its name, but as far as ruins go, it's an amazing place to explore and a good way to spend an afternoon. It's been abandoned since at least 1980 and nature's taking it back. 1.

Just like me to rush into something without reading instructions. Sorry about that.

Whoops, thanks for the heads up. It's been edited. I figured that since this is a rather well known area and not fenced off it would be okay to mention it.

Great pictures! I actually just checked out this place today. While looking through your pictures I was like "wtf! how did I miss the stuff in 4-9. I thought I explored every step of the place. Turns out the massive downpour we had filled that entire cavern area up to at least 6 feet! Look here I am treading water in the thing.

It seems you're in the area below that (in picture 14), which we only found accessible by a sketchy rope or by water. The area with the round pipes is above and behind that, with the entry pipe behind some trees.

He has every right to post it as public if he chooses, names and locations intact. Just no POE details.

I returned here today and the place is absolutely breathtaking with the fall colours.
Got out just in time to catch the sunset over the river.

Me and some friends dipped out of the Canadian war museum on a school trip to explore this site. I was going to make a post about it but then saw this and realized there already was one. Its an awesome place except for the [Censored] and bruised the shit out of my fingers. Anyways it was totally worth the explore even though 3 teenagers in dress shirts and ties did get an awkward look from the few people that walked by.

Careful with the descriptions, POEs are to be kept secret. The only people I've come across there were search & rescue firefighters that stopped by, likely to admire the scenery. It was awkward for both of us. This is truly one of those hidden gems people go by every day without realising it's there, especially with the waterfall under the bridge. Feel free to make your own post as well, or just add to this one if you'd like. Entirely up to you.

Sorry about the POE, i'll edit it out. I don't think ill make a post because I barely took any photos there. If I go there again I'll take my time exploring it a bit more and hopefully get some decent shots.
