This is my first post in the forum, though I've been doing urbex, ghost towning and legend tripping for a while. There aren't a lot of sites up in Maine, but this one turned out to be decent when I visited a few weeks ago with a friend who was new to things. It was easy to access and mostly involves a scramble up a steep hillside. 1.

Thanks! I often wonder if I'm the only one in Maine. Have some trips to Mass and Conn planned so more on the way.

I'm in Dover just bordering Maine, just moved here a few months ago. Now I'm going to be on the lookout for some more of these Maine sites!

Message me if you want any of these. Maine is big, and I'm betting we miss a lot.

There are more guys in Maine. Just build up some cred by exploring on your own (and not asking for handouts) and they'll reach out to you. Keep it up.

Thanks for the encouragement. Exploring some other sites this last weekend, I ran into some people who were completely new to this, and from NH. They had literally just visited their first site that day. I gave them some help finding some things in the area and traveled with them for a while and now they are very into things . I like the idea that we have a helpful community, as that's the only way it won't be overtaken by those who don't respect the sites. I'll keep at it for sure.
