Some Rural Ruins

My self-imposed project for the last few months has been documenting interesting examples of derelict rural architecture I've come across around my county and elsewhere. I've tried to use similar viewpoints and compositional techniques to record some sort of typology of these buildings. I'm interested in getting some feedback on the work so far. There's a lot more than this, but rules are rules... I also highly recommend clicking through for larger versions.

You have some good subjects around there.

1 is very heavy on the mid-tones. I'd play with the curves a bit. It may be tough as the sky, ground and trees are all a similar tone.

There's a lot of interesting stuff going on between the houses and the plants an stuff that may be a bit more interesting closer up. Most of the shots have the same perspective (except for #6, which may be my favorite): they're sorta 3/4ths angle from a distance to get the whole building.

If you're truly just trying to document, then this makes sense but if you're going for some more compelling photos I would experiment with more different angles and not be afraid to get in closer.

I look forward to seeing more!
