Burnt Core

I have been meaning to explore this place for a long time. Saw it from 44 forever ago and thought that this would be a perfect place! When I finally got around to it, I grabbed Duedo and we hit it up. As of when we went this place has homeless people living in the bottom, so just avoid them and don't bother them. Still a great place to check out regardless. It's also connected to a business that seems to have some vacant rooms ripe for the esplorin'. If anyone figures a way to get up there, let me know! ;)

Like all my pictures so far, I took these with my phone. I'd love some feedback!

Cool. Even if just using a phone camera, try a cheap tripod.
Low light setting on phones have gotten pretty good but you still have to keep them still.
Welcome.

The plain jane building not far from there offers an awesome rooftop view of this place as well as down town. If you get up the rickety ladder of death.....

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store.

Good work, some of the pics are pretty nice. I'd like to see the outside from the building mentioned if you get those pics too

I like the pictures. There are a few in there that look a little blurry. My guess is that it was probably the phone you were using. I have an LG G4 which is by far the best camera on a phone I have ever used. I try to avoid taking pictures that it wont do well though. All in all good pictures and nice find hope it was a good trip and I look forward to more from you!

EDIT: also, dust is the bane of phone cameras. Nothing looks good if there is a lo t of dust in the air

From what I heard that spot with the view got sealed... But even when its sealed you can still find a way up.

I explored the gigantic semi-active part of that complex in winter '07. As we were making our way up to cross over the sky bridge to the building in the photos (before bums burnt it down), an alarm went off and we GTFO. soap got balls climbing around in that burnt ass building.
