Today was an EPIC ADVENTURE. We searched google satellite for 5+ months and finally found it! Our find was on our #1 to-do list immediately. We had to hike over an 1 1/2 hours and finally were excited and busted out our cameras. We had a smooth time with no troubles. Crazy how we were in the middle of a forest and the views were amazing. Here are the photos (and this isnt even half)......

This looks like a great location, and you've done a nice job of capturing it in these photos.

Was there any way to get up to the tops of the buildings for some top-down views?

Kudos to you. We used mountain bikes when we went, and it was brutal!
You went all that way and didn't stop to see the tanks!?!?!?

All we saw were water tanks in the distance. Everything was demolished

I'm talking about real tanks and APCs.

I was going to say it looks to clean to be fully abandoned. Was wondering if it was used for urban training.

Place was really well kept. There was some big graffiti that looked like it has been three for quite some time. We found lots of shells and interesting paperwork.

Damn, that's a lot of cement blocks.

Looks like a perfect spot for military training, paintball and other things of the sort.

They are in the process of pulling the tanks out. I am working on a project here and as of December 2015 they had a plan to pull the old tanks and a couple other vehicles out.

Yeah when we visited the abandoned military compound there was hardly anything around. Looks like everything was out of demolished or removed. Only things that were remaining well are still visible via Google Earth and or satellite. All good we still had an epic adventure

Probably because of overexposure on the internet due to someone posting dozens of pictures... on a public viewable thread.

Hey thanks for saying that. Didn't know we documented the spot that well 🤘🏻💞.
Also many members upload dozens of photos so are you also speaking on them as well? 🤣⭐️💯
