Abandoned bible school adventure

Hey guys! So last thread I posted had some old spots I visited over the past 3 months. It inspired me to visit a place that I've recently seen floating around on the internets. I had heard of this Bible School in RI and was tipped off by a fellow Ubexer. I showed up and found that pretty much every window and door was locked or boarded up. However I did find a POE and was able to make my way into the east wing.

In there I found a bunch of the dorm rooms, complete with kitchens and a fireplace in pretty much all the common rooms. These weren't particularly too interesting. After checking that out I made my way to the main room. This is when I realized that clearly the owner must be their regularly as the lights were on. I was also told by my ubex connect that he had tripped an alarm but no one showed up even after hours. So that did relieve some of my paranoia. The coolest features of the place was the ornate wood trimmings and near perfect carpeting, fire places and chandeliers. There was also a library that was pretty impressive.

The two strangest parts of the explore was a 4 inch thick steel door with a mickey mouse themed painting on it. The door was sorta reminiscent of the chokey from Matilda. The second strangest part was when I made my way to the chapel and found a T-Mobil radio transmitter. I'm assuming the owner of the building rents it out to the company. Anyways, highly suggest checking it out however enter at your own risk. There was a lot more that I could of checked out but being by myself I didn't really want to stick around longer than a few hours.

Yeah I was surprised to see that the chandeliers were in tact too. Place was in decent shape save for some graffiti and broken glass. Glad to see scrappers haven't gotten to it.

There's a spiral staircase somewhere in there. If you check it out get some pics of that ;)

Yeah that's probably due to the fact that it was definitely being used haha. The strangest part to me was the radio transmitter in the chapel...kinda made it that much more sketchy...and fun haha

Being locked in a vault sucks, but not as much as being locked out.
