Sweet pics! Just some tips on the post processing cause I reckon this is one of the best batches of pictures from one roof. If you have lightroom, under the lens corrections tab tick all 3 boxes (profile corrections, chromatic aberration, and constrain crop) and then click the button below them that says auto. This will level your image, but also prevent the odd bending of buildings you get when using a very wide lens. Another thing is these pics would look amazing with a high contrast, crushed black, saturated orange look. If you aren't super confident with editing I'd be happy for you to send me the raws and I could edit them for you.

I don't get why there's such a stigma attached to editing here (or so I've seen) but it's not like some post processing is gonna make a shit photo look great - it has to be a great photo to begin with. There are some basic photographic flaws in OP's images that are beyond his control such as lens distortion. There's nothing you can do to prevent this but some editing can fix it. If you like them how they are that's great but I feel he'll get more value out of this site if I can offer some insight and advice from my own experience.

Your offer and suggestions are helpful however it came off as a bit presumptuous. ATLviewer is a well respected member for over a year and you have been here less then a month. Your instagram account shows some great shots and I'm glad you've decided to become a part of our community. Maybe posting some of those great shots and contributing a bit more will earn the trust and respect you seem to deserve.

I see, my reply didn't help much either. I completely understand where you're coming from though. @sleeperspirit sorry for being so rude, I kind of forgot my current standing on the forum, didn't intend to be so dismissive.

Thanks so much for the compliment. And as far as post processing, I do not have lightroom. I just recently switched computers and have no proper editing software at the moment. In the edits I did do to these, I purposely tried to eliminate the orange caused by the sodium/mercury vapor light. (Except the BOA building in fog, because that whole tip is lit by those) While some like that look, it didnt fit the mood of that evening. It was under 30° and foggy, and wanted these to have a "cold" look. I do appreciate the tips on the wide angle issues though.

Completely understand, not convinced I explained myself properly but I'll drop an example image here so you can see what I mean - several of your photos I feel would look amazing with this style of editing.

So how did you get in if you weren't allowed at first? Get permission, or find a more covert POE? Absolutely stunning shots though!

I like your suggestion. Feel free to pick my shit apart anytime. Step back from the keyboard folks and read comments objectively. I read this post as "hey, give this a try" but maybe I'm in a better mode than some... OP, these shots are the jam.

Cheers that's exactly how it was intended - all cleared up now and no harm done. Guess it's a good way to get thrown into the forum

Its a bit of a trial by fire around here. Social Darwinism at its best! If you REALLY want to see if you have what it takes to survive vitriol that reduces lesser people to a puddle of blubbering goo, ask for locations in your area. "Hey
