Me and a few friends were exploring an abandoned theme part. We were walking through the maintenance shop and found an animatronic beaver, or at least the tail of one. It looked like it had been through quite a bit though

finding a lil' dime bag with a one hitter from the 80's in a electrical box. i am now pretty consistent with checking odd places that may have hidden things long before the place became derelict, for funsies.

Usually people remember vaguely where they lost their stuff, and eventually come back for it.

I left a knife in a mall near me on accident, I came back few days later and found the sheath to my knife, somebody had stolen it. You wouldn't expect it but the knife was kind of sentimental and was overall a good blade. I hadn't even known I had left it yet, but if it wasnt taken I would have had my knife back. Great perspective.

One time I found a knife in a mall I was exploring, did not care for the sheath though, so I left it and took the knife.

Once I found a flowered cannabis plant in a pot (I did not take anything).

An other time I was very early for a job where I had to just watch to learn (not get paid) for two hours so I opened the maps and found an interesting location. There I found wheels for roller skates, which I already needed so I took them. I might not got paid afterwards but I gained wheels that are somewhat expensive.

This might not count as "stuff," but I visited an abandoned amusement park today that had a zoo area, with a live tiger who's been living here alone, being fed every day, since about 2020.

I find a lot of cool stuff in storm drains but one of the best things I've found was a 1958 silver dime. Over the years of exploring drains I found a fair of keys, a lot of cellphones, a wood handle hammer, a rusty screwdriver and a small iPod. Sometimes I find different kinds of knives including a very big knife but I usually leave the knives where I found them in case I have an encounter with the police (LOL). One time I found a wheat penny but I couldn't read the date on it because it was too dirty and I don't usually clean them because I've heard that the old coins will be worth more money if you leave them as is. Does anyone ever find anything cool in drains?
