Its final service took place on July 16, 2006. While it is a small building, almost everything was left behind including pews, the altar, Bibles, books and other furniture, making this a fun way to start the year. I'm not religious at all but the ones I went to as a kid were such calm, peaceful places that it's really surreal to see them in such disrepair.
